They are primarily focused on the UK scene but many points will apply anywhere.

The first question anyone considering seeing an Escort needs to ask is why? What are you looking for? Can it be found this way?
Where to start
Firstly, decide exactly what sort of lady you are looking to meet. There is no "one size fits all" but there is someone for every taste. Often "bad experiences" are no more than the guy not choosing the right lady to spend time with.
Next, decide what service or experience you seek and match the appropriate lady to these.
Decide which area you want to visit a lady in, whether you wish to see an independent lady, to visit a Working House or to go via an Agency.
Where to research
You cannot beat a bit of research. To punt without doing research is like an accident waiting to happen.

Some sites like Adultwork ( www.adultwork.com ) and reputable agencies will allow feedback, good or bad, to be left. Always be suspicious if no reviews are displayed, unless a lady is new.
Do be aware: just as ladies are all different, so are guys. One person's good or bad experience may not apply to everyone. We are all have varied tastes and personalities and sometimes we just do not click.
Agency, House or Independent
Decide whether you want to see a lady through an agency, at a Working House or as an Independent. Each option has its merits and drawbacks, so choose the one which suits your approach the best.
Incall or outcall?
Do you want to see a lady at her place (incall) or do you want her to visit you at your place (outcall). If you are looking for an outcall, be prepared to give more information than will be required for an incall.
Legal matters
Many new Punters are concerned about the legal aspects of seeing an Escort. In essence, seeing an Escort is not illegal, with a few exceptions. If you have any doubts have a look here for more info and advice
If a lady has been trafficked and a punter sees her, he is potentially in very hot water. Ignorance is no defense. Therefore, only see ladies in reputable establishments and if you are in any doubt, leave.
If visiting an escort at a Working House, if there is more than one lady working, it is deemed to be a brothel and illegal. Although the punter would not get prosecuted, a visit from the police would not be welcome.
Always remember, seeing an escort means you are paying for her time only. Anything else must be consensual. An escort has the right to say no to anything she does not enjoy, or she does not feel comfortable about, or if she finds the client to be abusive or disrespectful. If you force an escort to do something against her will, it is rape and you will be prosecuted.
Etiquette
Meeting with an escort is a professional business arrangement only and must never be confused with dating, irrespective of how well you feel the appointment went.
All escorts are entitled to basic courtesy and respect and will respond much better to anyone who shows them a level of due deference.
Hygiene
There is no substitute for impeccable standards of hygiene. Before seeing an escort, endure you have showered, paying attention to all areas, particularly the private parts, and clean your teeth and under your nails. If an escort asks you to shower before starting, this is her right, and always respect this and comply.
If you are unwell, do not meet, as it is not fair to risk passing on the infection.
Escorts are regularly checked for STIs and Punters should go for check-ups too. There are many free centers available and some private ones too. If you ever suspect you may have contracted an STI do not see anyone else until you have had it checked out and been given the all-clear.

It is very important to set a budget for both time and money based on what you can afford.
Whilst punting is enormous fun, the costs can soon escalate and could easily get out of hand. Only budget what you can realistically afford.
Forums
There are several forums where Punters can discuss issues and somewhere Escorts interact too. Do be aware, escorts read the forum posts too and may well ban anyone who is disrespectful either about her or her colleagues. Moreover, the libel laws do apply, so do not be fooled into thinking you can write anything and hide behind your keyboard. If you willfully damage a lady's business unfairly it may prove very costly to you.
